I make jewellery mainly from sterling silver, each piece one at a time using simple methods and tools such as hammers, saws and a gas torch. I am particularly interested in surface treatment and use numerous modified hammers to produce as wide a range of textures as I can. These are an important part of my work.

Recently have also begun to work with copper, brass and bronze added them to silver in pieces of jewellery and on also their own.

As well as the range of work included on this website I also make many one off and experimental pieces some of which become part of my regular production.

I welcome and enjoy private commissions.

I live and work in Maesteg with my wife, our cat and dog, and our daughters and grandchildren close enough to make us laugh nearly every day.
